Data protection statement

§ 1 Information on the collection of personal data

(1) We shall inform you here about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is all data that relates to you e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses.

(2) The responsible person as per Art. 4 Para. 7 EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)can be seen in the legal notice. Our data protection officer can be contacted via our postal address with the supplement “The Data Protection Officer.”

(3) When you contact us via e-mail or a contact form, we shall save the data you provide (your e-mail address, possibly your name and your telephone number) to answer your questions. We shall delete data arising in this regard once we no longer need to save it, or shall limit its processing, if there are statutory retention obligations.

(4) If we rely on commissioned service providers for individual functions of our offering, or wish to use your data for promotional purposes, we shall inform you below in detail about the relevant processes. We shall also state the specified criteria for the retention period.

§ 2 Your rights

(1) You have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

– Right to object to processing,

– Right to data transfer.

(2) You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.

§ 3 Collection of personal data when visiting our website

(1) If you use the website solely for informational purposes (i.e. if you do not register or send us other information), we shall only collect the personal data that your browser sends to our server. If you wish to browse our website, we shall collect the following data that is required from a technical perspective to show you our website and guarantee its stability and security ( The legal basis for use is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) ):

– IP address

– Date and time of the request

– Time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

– Content of the request (specific page)

– Access status/http status code

– Data volume transferred

– Website submitting the request

– Browser

– Operating system and its interface

– Language and version of the browser software.

(2) In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are saved on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are assigned to your browser and saved on your hard drive, and through which specific information flows to the entity that places the cookie (in this case us). Cookies cannot run any programmes or transfer any viruses to your computer. They help to make the internet offering more user friendly and effective.

(3) Use of cookies:

a) This website uses the following types of cookies, whose scope and functioning are explained below:

– Transient cookies (see b)

– P ersistent Cookies (see c).

b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. In particular, these include session cookies that save a so-called session ID through which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the shared session. Your computer can thus be recognised when you come back to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

c) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specific time, which can differ depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies in the security settings in your browser at any time.

d) You can configure your browser settings in accordance with your wishes and, for example, reject the acceptance of third party cookies or all cookies. We would like to point out that this may mean you are unable to use all the functions of this website.

e) We use cookies to be able to identify you during subsequent visits if you have an account with us. Otherwise, you will have to log in again for each visit.

f) The flash cookies used are not recorded through your browser but rather through your flash plug-in. We also use HTML5 storage objects that are stored on your end device. These objects save the required data regardless of the browser you use and have no automatic expiration date. If you do not want flash cookies to be processed, you must install a relevant add-on e.g. “Better Privacy” for Mozilla Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/betterprivacy/) or the Adobe Flash killer cookie for Google Chrome. You can prevent the use of HTML5 storage objects by using the private mode in your browser. We also recommend manually deleting your cookies and browser history on a regular basis.
